Many persons occasionally experience the “spiritual” or “unitive” sense. This sense is
described by hundreds of persons quoted in Alister Hardy’s book entitled The Spiritual
Nature Of Man. What’s missing in this book is a rational theory of what natural parameter
this sense registers. With a rational theory, it’s possible to get more use of this parameter
of nature.
The language of mathematics itself suggests that the number one (unity) is a two-
dimensional concept. If this is true, the idea of time as a single dimension is too simple. A
unit of time independent of space dimensions would exist in a plane, not in or along a line.
And the unit electric vector and the unit magnetic vector in a photon or light particle each
is included in a third region of space which isn’t represented in the field equations. If
there’s any energy in this “missing” dimension or “higher” dimension, it might be felt by
persons who have no clear explanation of this energy or this realm.
If there’s a mathematical argument that unity is equal to one or more expressions defined
in a plane, the two dimensional nature of unity is established. Many equations equate
unity with expressions which are point or linear measurements along a single dimension,
but many other equations do equate unity with a construct which can exist only in a two
dimensional space.
Once you’ve established that unity is equal to the product of certain constructs in a plane,
the transitive law of equality forces the conclusion that unity is not limited to just a single
dimension. There’s another realm associated with the “unit field vector” as in
electromagnetic theory. This electromagnetic field includes light and heat produced or felt
in the human body. “The missing sense” may be the result of humans accessing the
“missing energy” in “hyperspace”.
If certain persons resonate in and sense this “hyperspace” by having “spiritual” experiences,
there’s a biochemical, molecular reason for this, and one can argue that in nature, certain
other beings might resonate in this “hyperspace” energy much more intensely than humans
can. Then certain sensitive humans might sense the “spiritual” by associating with these
beings. And a person who has cultivated a “spiritual” sense will be able to sense directly
the intense field of hyperspace energy in these beings. For example, Moses sensed the
“burning bush”, when he came close to a certain shrub or tree in a land where many such
resinous shrubs and trees grow.
Complex number theory is used in modern physics and complex number theory equates
unity to the product of two coordinate vectors. A single unit vector in one dimension can
be envisioned as the product of two coordinate vectors which don’t lie on the line of this
unit vector. Both the unit electric vector and the unit magnetic vector in an
electromagnetic pulse may be thought of as existing in and carrying energy in a third
“nonphysical” and “nontemporal” dimension. Certain beings and certain chemicals in
humans might resonate in this “spiritual” realm or dimension and even concentrate it or
amplify it so that humans are affected through their own biochemical systems.
